inWarning: After my last job, I know new paint formulas are worse than the old ones.
@thomas584 That's exactly the right move. It seems like a lot of these newer companies are cutting corners to save money, and the product just doesn't last. They probably changed the formula to make it cheaper to produce, but then it fails on the customer. Going with a brand that's been around forever usually means they haven't messed with what works. My neighbor had the same peeling issue and his fix was the same, sand and use the old reliable stuff. It's frustrating we have to go backwards to get quality.

inI thought my old password system was clever, but a talk at a library in Boise changed my mind completely.
Read a blog post that broke down why length beats complexity every time. They used the example "Tr0ub4dor&3" versus "correct horse battery staple." The first one looks strong but a computer cracks it fast. The second is just four random words and is way harder to guess. Makes you rethink everything, right?

inJust realized my one-file habit almost erased a whole series
Your new system sounds brilliant, my version of "organized" was just different folders of chaos.

inMy failed attempt at the viral watermelon and feta trend
My cousin Mark made me try avocado chocolate mousse last summer. It was so bland and weird, I couldn't finish it. Some food trends just don't live up to the hype.

inI never told about wood flaws until a friend's cabinet failed
Wait, you were actually HIDING cracks to save time? That's wild man, those little flaws can totally wreck the whole structure. A dresser drawer holds clothes and stuff, that collapse could have hurt someone. You gotta call that stuff out every single time, no question.
