My new drawing tablet decided to have a disco party right in the middle of a big commission last night.

The screen started flashing every color imaginable for a solid 30 seconds before it went completely black, so I had to finish the line art on my phone with my finger, which took twice as long and looked ridiculous.

I know this is a hot take here, but I think 'Firefly' going out after one season was for the best. I bought the whole DVD box set for $40 back in the day, and I felt like I wasted my money. The show had a cool setting, but the stories were all over the place. One week it was a heist, the next a weird western, and it never settled on what it wanted to be. The characters were fun, but the plot holes were huge. If it had kept going, I think it would have gotten messy and lost its charm. The movie 'Serenity' already tried to tie up the big story and it felt rushed. Sometimes a short run is better than a long, slow drop in quality. Does anyone else feel like some shows are better off as a 'what if'?

Showerthought: We used a new fast-cure epoxy on a warehouse floor joint and it failed in 48 hours.

Had a job in Phoenix last week. Joint was prepped right, temperature was fine. The spec sheet said full cure in 24 hours for forklift traffic. We let it sit for 36 to be safe. By day two, the epoxy was soft and peeling up under the wheels. Now I'm hearing some guys swear by it and others say it's junk. Has anyone else run into problems with these new 'rapid' floor products?

I was having a small get-together a month ago, and the wind picked up out of nowhere... I had the pit about five feet from the fence, which seemed fine before. A big gust blew embers right onto the dry wood and it started smoking. I had to dump a whole bucket of water on it. How far do you guys keep your fire features from fences or sheds?

My friend's cat knocked over a full game of Scythe last night

We were three hours into a five-player game at his apartment when his cat jumped onto the table, scattering every piece. We spent 45 minutes trying to rebuild the board state from memory before we just gave up and ordered pizza instead. Anyone have a good method for securing a game table from pets?

Found my old Settlers of Catan box from college and the pieces were still sorted by color.
