Used to think that, then saw one hit a car.

I swore by my old way of setting up a boring bar until last Tuesday

So you just discovered tool geometry by accident?

Had to pick between a big conference or a small mastermind group this year.

Honestly, I was all about the big stage before. But man, a tight group like that forces you to actually do the work, you know? @the_alice is right about the real talk. My last mastermind saved a project I was about to mess up.

Spent about $80 on a custom foam insert for my copy of Gloomhaven, and honestly, it was a total game changer.

Saw a video where someone made their own with foam core board, looked like a fun weekend project.

Remember when we had to write every tool offset by hand on a notepad?

Honestly, that paper backup habit from @shane244 and the_derek is smart. Tbh, it makes me wonder how shops decide what's "critical" enough for the double check. Is it just the super tight tolerance stuff, or do you also log tools that are known to wear out fast? Ngl, seeing that old log must have been a trip down memory lane, but I bet you don't miss the soggy paper.
