Spent $60 on a board game that looked cool but was just terrible
I saw this game called 'Starfall Siege' at the local shop with amazing art, so I grabbed it without checking any reviews. Played it with my group last night and the rules were a total mess, we gave up after an hour of confusion. Has anyone else bought a game just for the box art and been totally let down?

Ugh, that's the worst. I learned the hard way to watch a quick how-to-play video online before buying anything now. Saves so much hassle.

Remember that time I bought a game because the box showed people laughing around a table? Opened it up to a rulebook thicker than my phone book. Spent an hour just learning how to set up the first turn. Felt like I needed a college degree to understand why my little wooden cube couldn't move to the red space.

Totally get that. Box art is a trap sometimes. The rulebook is the real test.
