inPro tip: A cheap plastic scraper from Harbor Freight saved my finish on a job in Phoenix
Wait, you guys are still using metal blades? I thought everyone switched to plastic years ago for safety.

inThe week a 40-yard pour went sideways in July heat
Chilling the aggregates is a total game changer in this heat. We started doing that on a big slab pour last summer and the difference in work time was crazy. It beats just using ice in the mix water because it cools the whole batch more evenly. Makes finishing so much less of a panic.

inTried a new way to set a corner post in really sandy soil and it actually worked BETTER than I thought
I was all about the manual process for years, swore by it. Then I tried the new automated system they rolled out last month. Cut my time in half on the last project, no joke. Totally changed my view on needing to do everything by hand. Sometimes the new way just works better once you give it a real shot.

inJust lost $150 on a 'professional' facial steamer that broke in a month
Ugh, that exact same thing happened to me last year. Bought a "pro" model with all these great reviews, and the plastic housing around the tank just cracked from normal use. Had water dripping all over my kit bag and ruined a set of towels. Metal tanks are the only way to go for sure, the plastic ones just can't take the heat and the moving around.

inWarning: I just threw out $200 on a 'professional' color remover kit
My garage has three of those fancy tools still in the box. The old hammer gets used every single time.
