inTried a pre-pour slump test every time and wow, what a difference!
Actually, that's called a slump test. It checks the workability before the pour. Makes a huge difference when crews do it right!

inTIL binge-watching that anti-hero drama got me stuck in a moral gray area
No way, a whole week of grimy couch feeling? That show really gets under your skin.

inVent: My shop mate won't drop the gas forge debate
What's the point of making things harder? In my experience, adding difficulty without good reason just leads to frustration. Your mileage may vary, but most people want to solve problems, not create new ones. Take this with a grain of salt, but I see it as a waste of time and energy. Life already has enough challenges without us adding more on purpose. So, unless there's a clear benefit, why invite trouble?

inWhy do some clients insist on fences in swampy ground?
Feel your pain on this one. Clients sometimes fixate on marking boundaries no matter what. I've seen posts wobble like jelly in that muck. Those screw-in anchors kim mentioned can help, but it's still a headache. Honestly, half the job is managing expectations when the ground fights back.

inI used to think coding required a fancy computer setup
Heard about my buddy who once lost a week on a project because of a typo in a variable name. He was using all these fancy plugins and monitors, but the issue was just a misspelled word. It drove him crazy how something so small could cause such a big headache. Really shows that the simple stuff can trip anyone up, no matter their setup. Tools are great, but they can't fix human errors like that!
