I used to think coding required a fancy computer setup
Now I see that starting with just a basic laptop and free software is perfectly fine for learning.

Absolutely right, you really don't need much to start. Just grab a free code editor like VS Code and you are set. Focusing on the basics matters way more than your gear.

Ha, that's true. I once spent three hours debugging with a fancy setup, only to find a missing comma. The basics still beat me sometimes.

Heard about my buddy who once lost a week on a project because of a typo in a variable name. He was using all these fancy plugins and monitors, but the issue was just a misspelled word. It drove him crazy how something so small could cause such a big headache. Really shows that the simple stuff can trip anyone up, no matter their setup. Tools are great, but they can't fix human errors like that!
