Tried a pre-pour slump test every time and wow, what a difference!
Stopped guessing on water content and our finishes are way smoother now!

Man, my buddy's crew kept fighting terrible bleed water on their slabs for weeks. They finally started doing those tests before every truck arrived and it fixed everything. The foreman said it was like night and day on their last pour.

Actually, that's called a slump test. It checks the workability before the pour. Makes a huge difference when crews do it right!
