inWatched a guy overseason brisket with a shaker full of salt, learned more than 3 classes taught me
Salt math is weird like that, apparently the cure for bland brisket is just enough salt to preserve a small mummy. Maybe the secret is that competition judges are all secretly dehydrated and desperate for electrolytes. That said, 2 cups sounds less like seasoning and more like a dry brine with extra steps, but if the bites were that good, I'd eat my own measuring cups out of shame.

inTook 4 years to realize I was stretching canvases backwards
Ngl I paint on the rough side too and honestly my acrylics do fine, I just use a lil more water or gesso first. Seems like one of those things people overthink, like the canvas police are gonna come measure your teeth or something.

inThe 3D scan of that turquoise mask finally convinced me it was a fake
Man, that really sucks. You get all excited about something like that and then the tech just rips the magic right out of it. Hope you get to see the real deal someday, that old story deserves a happy ending.

inThe $9 shade cloth trick that saved my back deck from turning into a sauna
Heavy duty zip ties will melt in the sun over time though, so check them after a few months. Carabiners are good, but swap the zip ties for stainless steel wire or UV rated ones.

inThe 90 page PDF we sent to a CFO who asked for a one pager
Swear I used to think longer docs showed we knew our stuff, but this totally flipped my thinking. Buyers just want the quick numbers and a clear answer, everything else is noise that slows them down. Now I ask upfront if they need the deep version or the skim version, saves everyone time and makes us look smarter.
