Update: Quieted my screeching garage door on a Saturday morning

That tiny crack Jamie mentioned in the spring is wild to me. I can't believe something you can barely see can mean the whole spring is about to go. The idea of it snapping while the door is moving is actually scary, like it could seriously mess something up. It's crazy how such a small thing you'd ignore can turn into a huge, dangerous problem real fast. Makes me want to go stare at my springs for an hour now.

I finally tried that free city tour hack and ended up in a goat farm

Free tours in Lisbon can get wild, but a goat farm is a new one. I heard about a group that ended up at a bakery instead of the castle, which is closer to @butler.iris's gallery mix-up. Actually, the real hack is to check the guide's map before you start, because wrong turns happen more than you'd think. My friend once followed a tour that turned into a cooking class, so these things have a way of working out oddly.

My team's bullet journals are full of drawings instead of duties.

Yeah, I'm totally on the side that the drawings are the point for some people (the act of decorating helps me remember the task way better than just writing it down, honestly). It turns a boring list into a map my brain actually wants to look at again.

I swore by budget connectors until a weekend of service calls

Man, I had the same thing happen last year. Was using those budget connectors and spent more time fixing leaks than installing. Now I just bite the bullet and get the reliable ones, even if it hurts upfront.

A farmer's market visit sparked a big fight over hidden additives in bread

Calcium propionate is a common preservative in store-bought bread. I mean, it's FDA-approved and used to prevent spoilage. Idk, maybe it's just me, but the panic over hidden additives seems overblown when these things are regulated. Most companies follow labeling laws, so if something's not listed, it's probably in such tiny amounts it doesn't matter.
