I used to think a track saw was just a fancy thing for people with too much money. For years I'd wrestle full 4x8 sheets onto my table saw with roller stands, and it was always a two person job that felt sketchy. Then about six months ago I had to do a kitchen remodel solo in a tight Philly row house with no room for a full sheet. I borrowed a buddy's track saw out of pure desperation. I mean, I cut three sheets of 3/4 inch ply by myself in under an hour, with cleaner edges than my table saw usually gives. The dust collection hooked right to my shop vac and kept the place clean. Now I use my own track saw for every single sheet good breakdown before anything hits the table saw. It's just safer and faster for the initial cuts. Anyone else make the switch and find they use their table saw differently now?
