Bob from down the street solved my mosquito problem with one question
He asked if I had standing water anywhere, and sure enough there was a kiddie pool lid holding rainwater for 3 weeks near the shed. Dumped it and added a cheap fountain pump for $25, and the yard is actually usable after 7pm now. Anyone else find their worst pest issue was just something dumb like that?

Ha! Water. It's always water. People dump the bird bath and think they're done, but that old tire or the saucer under the plant pot is a goddamn breeding spa. I had the same thing with a clogged gutter, looked at it for a month. Simple fix, whole porch was usable again. Worst pest issues are always the lazy fix you didn't want to do.
