inComposting kitchen scraps felt weird at first, now it's just part of the routine.
My grandpa would be rolling his eyes at my fancy countertop compost bin. He just chucked stuff out the back door and called it a day. Now we have to sort our avocado pits into a special ceramic jar like it's a science project. Makes you wonder if we're helping the planet or just making extra chores for ourselves.

inJust realized crown thinning isn't just for looks
Same here, learned my lesson with a young maple tree. I watered it wrong for a whole season, figured it was fine because the leaves looked okay. Then one good storm and it split right down the middle. @mark_smith59, that feeling of realizing you caused the problem is the worst. Now I ask questions before I assume I know what a plant needs. It saves a lot of cleanup and that guilty feeling.

inJuggling too many tasks gives me a buzz, but I'm warning you now.
That same buzz got my friend last week... she texted me a photo of her living room with three cleaning projects half done and said "I've been at it for hours!" It was all motion like you said, no actual finished spaces. She had to laugh at herself once she saw it.
