inI quit pointing out every comic error in discussions. Less heat, but canon feels sloppy now.
Imagine getting worked up over every tiny mistake in comics. I used to correct people all the time, but it just made talking about stories less fun. Getting the big picture right matters more to me now than perfect accuracy.

inUnpopular opinion: Slow-rise bread isn't worth the hassle.
Yeah, isn't that the whole magic of it? Doesn't the whole thing just make you feel a little more calm in a non-stop world?

inWednesday's comic haul felt more like a library visit than a fan event.
Yeah no for real. My buddy basically keeps our local place's indie wall in business. She never talks to anyone, just grabs her weird black-and-white comics every Wednesday. I mean, the owner once told me he noticed her pattern and started setting aside certain issues, because her quiet buys were a big part of moving that stuff. She has no idea she's basically their most steady customer for that section.

inRant: I swore the local lighthouse tale was pure fiction until I saw the renovation plans
See, that's the fascinating part I wanted to clarify, like @hugot68 mentioned. Those logs confirm the disappearance of a ship, which is a solid historical fact, but they don't record a ghost ship sighting. The "ghost" part is the folklore that grew around that documented absence decades later. It's the difference between a verifiable event and the story we layer on top of it, which often says more about us than the event itself. The logs give us the skeleton, but the haunting tale is the muscle and skin we've added.

inWhy my sketchbook tours now feature every single page, not just the highlights
But does showing the messy pages actually change how you work in the sketchbook itself, like do you feel less pressure to make every page 'good' now?
