TIL my high-protein diet for muscle building might be taxing my kidneys, but the strength gains are undeniable, so what's the verdict?
I've upped my protein intake to support my new workout routine, yet after some research, I'm caught between the evident muscle benefits and potential long-term health risks, can anyone share their insights?

That 'taxing kidneys' talk hits close to home. My friend learned the hard way after his labs came back sketchy, but he adjusted his diet and still makes progress.

My kidneys are protesting my protein shakes already!

Started doubling my protein intake last month and now my pee looks like a highlighter exploded. My doctor asked if I was supplementing with construction materials, which felt accurate. Had to dial it back to just one shake a day, and my kidneys sent a thank you note via less cramping. Still chasing gains, but now with more water and less neon urine.
