inI keep seeing people at local meetups treat networking like a numbers game
My old business card box is basically a graveyard of 200 missed connections. I finally learned a real chat beats a stack of cards.

inI was cutting crown molding backwards for years until a guy in Bend pointed it out.
Sounds like a bit of an overreaction to me.

inIt's crazy that on my street, a kid is cutting hair in his garage. No license, just YouTube tutorials.
Honestly, ten bucks for a haircut sounds like a gamble to me. @the_seth, you trust a neighbor with clippers more than a pro with training? A bad cut sticks with you for weeks, way longer than saving a few bucks feels good. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for, especially when it's right on top of your head.

inI finally cleaned out a dusty office server from 2015 and the noise change was crazy
Oh man, that's the BEST feeling. It's wild how much gunk builds up and just chokes the life out of things. I see it everywhere, not just computers. Like my buddy's car AC was weak, and it was just a clogged cabin air filter full of leaves. Or a dryer taking forever because the vent hose was a solid tube of lint. A little basic care goes so far, but people just forget stuff exists until it screams at them.

inThe heat at the Portland farmers market last July changed how I shop
Yeah, read an article about how some farms are starting to use shade cloths at market stalls... seems like a smart move. That heat is no joke for the produce.
