inI always thought canned tomatoes were the cheap option, but my grocery receipt showed something else
Watched my friend buy a big jar of minced garlic thinking she was saving money. She did the math later and realized those little squeeze tubes of garlic paste were cheaper per ounce and didn't go bad in the fridge. She was so annoyed she texted me a picture of her receipt with angry emojis.

inThat time a 20-inch oak limb landed six feet from my chipper chute
Honestly started wondering if the shop lights were part of the problem. Had a flickering fluorescent right over the saw that day, casting weird, moving shadows on the workpiece. Made it super hard to see the actual grain lines and any slight bow in the board. Your eyes can play tricks in bad light, might have fed it a degree or two off without even realizing. Sometimes the tool is fine, but the whole setup around it messes you up.

inCleaned out my old work truck and found my first trowel from 1998.
Honestly that's a lot of bricks but it's just a tool right? Like benlewis asked why keep it, and I get having memories but it's not like the trowel did the work. Tools wear out, you get new ones that work better. Seems like people get too attached to stuff sometimes.
