Switched from cotton rounds to reusable bamboo pads for toner application

Oh man, I gotta disagree with you on this one @hill.troy. I actually tried those bamboo pads for a few weeks and they made my skin break out WORSE. Maybe it was the way I was washing them or something, but I swear they held onto bacteria no matter how much I scrubbed them. Cotton rounds are just simpler and I toss them without thinking. Plus the bamboo pads got all rough and scratchy after like 5 washes, felt like sandpaper on my face. I'm glad they worked for your redness but for my oily skin it was a total miss.

My little brother told me I was playing with my G.I. Joes wrong for 10 years because I never used the rubber bands to hold their weapons.

Wait, were the pegs on the bottom of the figures themselves or was it like a peg hole in the vehicle floor that the foot slid into? I never had M.A.S.K. stuff so I'm trying to picture how that clicked.

Shoutout to the week I tried batch cooking and then the week I went back to cooking fresh

Wait, are we really pretending like meal prepping isn't the new crossfit for people who want to feel superior about their chicken and rice? I tried it once back in 2019, bought all these glass containers and everything, spent a whole Sunday cooking, and by Wednesday I was eating pizza rolls because I got bored of eating the same thing. The worst part was cleaning those containers, they had this weird film on them that wouldn't come off no matter how hard I scrubbed. People act like they're saving the world by chopping up some broccoli on a Sunday night. Honestly I think the people who brag about meal prepping are just trying to convince themselves it was worth the effort.

Had a chat with a 20-year A&P at the FBO coffee pot that changed how I see old tech manuals...

Abby (@sullivan.abby), you've got to wonder if Bob ever actually fixed it for good or if he's still out there somewhere sweating that same fuel line. Reading those old notes feels like peeking into a mechanic's private diary, complete with their muttered complaints and inside jokes. The "good luck" note from '87 is basically the aviation equivalent of a mechanic saying "don't blame me if this thing falls out of the sky." Makes you appreciate that every page in that binder has a little piece of some guy's bad day, all preserved for the next poor soul to enjoy.

Just realized my book club's last debate actually got us 5 new members

Did your debate end up getting louder than the library allowed?
