inJust finished a 10,000 sq ft slab pour solo in two days. My back is screaming but I'm honestly shocked I pulled it off.
Two days for that solo is wild, my back hurts just reading it.

inWatching a guy in a coffee shop try to plug in a space heater with a 16 gauge extension cord
Wait, are we really saying a thin cord is fine for a space heater? That's crazy. I saw one of those cheap orange cords melt once because someone ran a heater on it overnight. @hunt.miles is totally right, it's not just warm, it gets hot enough to start a fire. People think because the plug fits it's okay, but that little wire inside can't take it. My old apartment building had a wall outlet that got all brown and crispy from something like that. It's just not worth the risk.

inChecked my password manager stats and it flagged 22 of my saved logins as reused across different sites.
Ever have a friend who swears they just use a few "strong" passwords everywhere? My buddy Mike got that exact alert from his manager last year, shrugged it off, and then his old forum account got popped. The scary part was that password was also his main email login. Watching him spend a week trying to get everything back was a real lesson. It's a pain to change them all, but that number is a warning you should listen to.

inJust realized my kitchen remodel added way more value than I expected
That 5% bump is pretty solid for a backsplash and lighting. Realtors love that stuff because it looks good in listing photos. You probably did get a bit lucky with your choices, but mostly you just avoided the weird trendy stuff that turns buyers off. Stick to simple, clean finishes and you'll usually come out ahead.

inDropped $75 on the complete 'Firefly' DVD set right after it got canceled, and honestly, it was worth every penny.
My Firefly box set got passed around my whole dorm floor. The discs were so scratched by senior year you had to skip the third episode.
