inFound my grandad's diesel manual from the 70s
Searching a digital manual is faster, but those old sketches forced you to trace the whole system. Might have been better for actually learning how things work.

Yeah, lost time is the worst part of the job. You never get that back.

inVent: My tool steel anneal is taking days and messing up my deadlines
Read somewhere that some geology projects take longer than human lifespans. Kinda puts things in perspective.

inPSA: My daily writing prompt habit just helped with a client pitch
Okay, so you said the silent conversation prompt made you rethink the garden design. How exactly did that work? Like, did you imagine the plants talking to each other or something? I'm stuck on how a vague idea becomes a solid pitch. Your brain must have made a leap I can't see yet. Breaking down that moment would be super helpful for anyone trying this.

inAm I the only one who developed a rash from handling certain minerals?
Actually, I don't think it's just the sulfur. A lot of pyrite has trace metals like arsenic in it, and that can be the real problem for skin. My reaction was always worse with specimens from specific locations known for that. The sulfur gets all the blame, but the other stuff in the mix is way more likely to cause a bad rash. Gloves are still a must, but it's good to know what you're really dealing with.
