inThat long haul to the North Sea rigs just isn't worth it anymore.
But @troy_palmer76, the downtime from storms hurts profits too.

inBar chatter turned into a goldmine for character prompts
Last Tuesday at the library a guy was whispering to his friend about a hidden key under a specific rock in a park. I only caught half the conversation but it sparked this whole idea about a character who follows vague instructions left by a missing sibling. Those tiny overheard clues feel so real because they are, they jump start my brain better than any writing exercise. I ended up drafting a whole scene just from that one weird detail. It's like finding a piece of a puzzle and your imagination has to build the rest of the picture.

inPSA: Logged into my anime forum account after years. Dead quiet compared to the old days.
Yeah, that "dead quiet" thing is a total mood. It feels like ALL the old internet hangouts just evaporated into a million different apps.

inThe worst creosote I've seen in years locked up my brushes.
But I see it differently. Not everyone has the cash for regular chimney sweeps, and they might not know how bad it can get. @the_emery, calling it a crisis from ignoring stuff misses that some people are just trying to get by. Old houses have so many issues, and creosote isn't always the first thing on your list. It's more about hard choices than dumb habits.

inShowerthought: That one time I had to fix a wavy laminate floor by myself
Always blamed moisture, but underlayment thickness is key.
