Ngl, I still think about that brutal week in '08 when we had three blown head gaskets on different 6.0 Powerstrokes back to back.
Honestly, the shop smelled like burnt coolant for a solid week and my foreman just kept muttering 'not again' every time the phone rang, so what's the weirdest parts run you've ever had to make for a single job?

Man, that reminds me of the time I had to hunt down a specific copper washer for an old diesel injector line. Ended up at a retired mechanic's house who sold it to me off his workbench from like 1987. Felt like a weird treasure hunt for a two dollar part.

Had to drive two towns over for a special O-ring once, only to find out the parts guy gave me the wrong size. The whole trip was for a seal smaller than a dime.
