inHad a weird chatter issue on a 4140 part three days ago
Wait, "makes chatter worse" feels like a pretty strong take, @angelas78. I've seen it go both ways depending on the setup. Is it really that bad every single time? Sometimes a slower feed is the only thing that saves a cut when things get shaky. It might not be a universal fix, but calling it worse seems off.

Solid caliche" - ever try a rock auger first?

inJust read that Chiang Mai has over 50,000 digital nomads at peak season
Ugh, that number sounds about right. I'm part of the problem, sorry. I swear I just wanted a coffee and some wifi. My old quiet spot got found last month and now it's a write-off. Try the places further east, past the river. They're a trek, but you can actually find a seat.

inRant: The appliance delivery guys left my new refrigerator blocking my garage door in Portland last Tuesday.
Did they even give you a reason why they left it like that? Two hours is a decent fix but that's such a weird, careless move to begin with. Makes you wonder what the first crew's job even was. Glad the store made it right though.

inHot take: The shift from surface-supplied to full face masks on inland dives is a game changer
Man, you got to work with a Kirby Morgan on a real job? I'm over here feeling like a caveman who just discovered fire. We were still using those basic half masks with the separate coms units until last year. The switch to a full face setup cut our time on the bottom by like a third, just from not having to stop and clear a flooded comm every five minutes. That warm face thing is no joke either, makes a ten hour shift almost bearable.
