I used to see a lot more aerial drops on my route in Tampa

Last week I was working a new neighborhood and every single house had underground conduit. Three years ago, I'd say half my jobs needed a pole climb or a ladder. Now it feels like maybe one in ten. The builders are putting in the pipes before the slab even goes down. Has anyone else seen this shift in their area?

Just realized I've moved over 2 million cubic yards with the old 370

Ran the numbers last night and my main dredge, a 370 I've run since '08, has moved over 2 million cubic yards of material. That's a lot of sand and silt, mostly from the Mobile Bay project. It hit me how much the gear has changed since I started, but that old machine just keeps going. Anyone else have a piece of gear that's just a workhorse you can't let go of?
