Just realized I've moved over 2 million cubic yards with the old 370
Ran the numbers last night and my main dredge, a 370 I've run since '08, has moved over 2 million cubic yards of material. That's a lot of sand and silt, mostly from the Mobile Bay project. It hit me how much the gear has changed since I started, but that old machine just keeps going. Anyone else have a piece of gear that's just a workhorse you can't let go of?

Aaron's right, it's a fossil. That's a huge amount of downtime and repair costs you're not talking about. Newer gear with GPS and better pumps would have finished the Mobile Bay job twice as fast.
