inMy brother threw a controller at my TV during Overcooked 2 and now we have a house rule
So the guy chucked a controller at a TV and the punishment is just... sitting somewhere else? That's not a rule, that's a timeout for a toddler. If he can't keep his hands to himself over a virtual burger, he sits out till he can act like a grown up.

inI swore off meal prepping on Sundays until a week in Sacramento changed my mind
Cook two different meals sounds smart but I'm wondering how you actually split it. Do you eat one fresh all week and freeze the second, or alternate days so you're not hitting the same thing twice in a row? And when you thaw the frozen one, does it actually taste decent on Thursday or does it come out mushy? I tried freezing chili once and it was fine, but rice and chicken never held up for me.

inThe 'so bad it's good' Crow remake argument always skips the real problem
I kind of see it the other way. The 94 version does have a slow stretch after the club scene, sure, but that time is used to build mood and let you sit with Eric's grief, which is the whole point of the movie. The 2024 one moves faster on paper but every scene is cut to bits, so nothing lands and it feels like a two hour trailer. Pacing is not just about how fast stuff happens, it is about whether the quiet parts earn the loud ones. So yeah, the 94 filler bugs me too, but I would take it over a movie that never slows down enough to make me care.
