inHad a client last week who made me rethink my whole approach to acne treatments
Had a client last week who made me rethink my whole approach" - I totally get that feeling. Those moments where a client casually drops a truth bomb can really knock you off your chair. It's humbling but honestly kind of refreshing to realize sometimes the simplest routine works best, even if it hurts our professional pride a little.

inThe hack that finally made my knife edge last more than a shift
Two nights ago I actually tried cardboard straight off the stones and it held up fine for about 15 shaves before I messed it up by trying to get fancy with a ceramic hone. Knowing me I probably just wasn't paying attention and rolled the edge anyway, which is my default state of being.

inDebate: Are those $300 track saws actually better than a circular saw with a straight edge?
Dropped my melamine sheet on my foot once. That sucked more than tear-out.

inMy neighbor's ring doorbell caught me talking to my plants at 2 AM
Oh man, I used to think these doorbell cameras were just paranoid overkill. But honestly this changed my mind completely. A couple months back my next door neighbor's Ring caught me singing "Total Eclipse of the Heart" at full volume while I was washing my car at 11pm. Thought I was alone. She sent me the clip with the caption "you really went for it." Now I wave at every camera I see like I'm running for office. Your basil thing is way better though. At least your plants didn't upload evidence of your vocal range.

inWarning: That free online coding tutorial cost me three full days of work
Heard a friend of mine rant about this same thing last week. He did a free Python course and ended up learning outdated syntax that didn't work on the current version. Paid courses usually get updated more often and have actual code reviews built in. The free stuff is fine if you already know enough to spot bad advice, but for beginners it's a trap. Udemy sales make most courses like $15 anyway, which is way cheaper than three lost days of work.
