inTried that new wireless sensor from a trade show against the old wired ones on a job in Phoenix, and wow, what a mess.
Heard they fail in high heat, that true?

inA trick for setting posts in rocky ground that actually worked for me
Oh man, I should clarify! The gravel from the hammer is fine, but you still gotta get the big chunks out. It's more about busting the rock into smaller pieces you can actually remove, not just turning it all to dust. Still saves a ton of time over trying to dig out a whole boulder.

inMy laptop charger died in a Chiang Mai cafe during a client call
You said you had to scramble to find a shop. But is that really the worst thing? You got to see a bit of the city, right? People plan whole trips to Chiang Mai and you got a free tour looking for an adapter. Missing a deadline is rough, but gear fails for everyone everywhere. Maybe the real problem was not having a backup plan, not the charger dying.

inI finally asked a regular at my cafe why he always brings his own mug
Remembering their order is a solid move. That actually reminds me of this one time at a diner I used to go to, the cook would see my car pull in and just start my breakfast. It was a small thing, but man, it made me feel like a VIP.

inI used to think the 'Lord of the Rings' movies cut too much, but a friend changed my mind
Oh totally! I was the same way with the first Harry Potter movie. Felt like they left out so much, but then my sister, who works in theater, explained how hard it is to fit a whole book into two hours. @oliver_fisher is right, we get stuck on the tiny details. Once you see the movie as its own thing, you can enjoy both.
