Watched my friend's backpack get mobbed by goats on that trail last spring. He still brings it up every time we plan a hike.

Unreal, I totally wrote off that trail as overhyped for ages too. Then I got my own goat escort and felt like a minor celebrity, just like @the_lisa's friend with his backpack mob. Something about a bunch of animals deciding you're interesting really makes a hike stick in your head. I guess the crowds are right about this one, even if it's for the weirdest reason.
