inDropped $180 on a salon chair off Facebook Marketplace and it's a total disaster
$180 for a chair that dumps clients on the floor sounds about right.

inPSA: I just learned that 80% of facials fail because the pH of the product is way off from the client's skin
Hold up, that might be a bit off. Most skin care products are formulated to be stable at a certain pH range, so a good cleanser or toner should stay in that zone on everyone unless it's super old or contaminated. The bigger issue is usually the skin's pH being thrown off, not the product itself being wrong on different people.

inThe one detail that keeps tripping up new guys on storefront installs
Had a similar issue on a 30 foot storefront in Phoenix last July. We left 3/16 gaps at every million but the caulking guy filled them flush with backer rod and silicone before the frame could expand. The whole thing buckled at the transom. You ever figure out a good way to police the sealant guys to keep them from overstuffing those joints?
