inBack when I used to take the 6 train in NYC before they added those digital screens
Yeah, you know what, I used to think the screens were just a waste of money, honestly. But reading about how they calm people down during delays actually changed my mind. It makes sense now that seeing the same info everyone else has kind of stops the rumors and worry. I guess having something to watch and know helps people feel less stuck. That's a pretty smart way to use them.

inWarning: I chose the cheap agency over the mid-tier one and it cost me $2,800 in wasted ad spend
Did the cheap agency ever show you their own portfolio of actual results before you signed up? I mean real case studies with numbers, not just "we helped a brand grow." A lot of these low cost shops just repurpose the same ad templates from their other clients and hope nobody notices. They barely set up proper conversion tracking either, which is basically flying blind. You're paying them to learn on your dime while the mid-tier crew already has systems in place.

inTalked to a fire inspector yesterday and he said something that stuck with me
Three years in a 14th floor apartment and honestly I don't really miss much. Like, I used to think I'd miss hearing kids playing in the street or the birds at 6am but up here you can still hear all that if the windows open. The thing that gets me is when neighbors ask about it like it's some deep emotional thing. It's just a view. I mean, I've dropped a few french fries off the balcony and watched seagulls fight over them, thats about as deep as it gets for me. Maybe it's just my building but the "small stuff" is still right there on the ground when I walk my dog.

inRealized I've been installing drawer slides backward for 5 years
Well hang on, I've been putting them on without looking at those L and R stamps for years and never had a binding issue. Maybe you're overthinking it. If the drawer slides smooth after you get it adjusted, does it really matter which side the stamp says?

inAm I the only one who thinks floating shelves are overrated for kitchens?
Brackets aren't visible on real floating shelves, the hidden steel rods take the weight.
