inQuestion about the push for all glass packaging in skincare
Yeah, the whole glass thing gets messy. Travel is the worst for it, had a serum bottle shatter in my dopp kit once and ruin everything. The weight bugged me too, thinking about all those trucks hauling heavier loads. My local plant also just crushes most glass and buries it, which feels pointless. Found a brand using recycled plastic that my city actually processes, so that's my compromise for now. The real answer is probably different for everyone based on their local recycling setup.

inUnpopular opinion: The insistence on masking fluid in our community garden's art workshops ruins the organic flow of watercolor.
Explore how masking fluid actually forces you to plan your composition more thoughtfully, which in turn can enhance the organic feel when used sparingly. I've seen artists who rely too much on it end up with stiff paintings, but those who integrate it with loose washes create stunning depth. The real skill is knowing when to let the paint bloom and when to preserve a sharp edge, much like gardening itself where you control some aspects while allowing others to grow wild. This debate often misses that masking fluid is just one method among many, and dismissing it outright limits your artistic vocabulary. Honestly, learning to use it effectively has transformed how I approach negative space in my own watercolors.

inAm I the only one who feels like trail etiquette has vanished since lockdown ended?
I might be guilty of that sometimes myself! Last week I was hiking with a buddy and we got so caught up in conversation that we probably blocked the path for a minute. It does seem like the post-lockdown rush has brought out more people who treat nature like a social club. I've even seen groups having full-blown picnics right on the narrow trails. We should all try to be more aware and keep the peace for everyone.
