Warning: My insomnia eased with fermented carrots
I eat them before bed and fall asleep faster. Such a simple trick for better sleep.

Wait, you actually eat fermented carrots right before bed? @the_brooke mentioned other fermented foods, but how do you deal with that strong sour taste when you're trying to sleep? Doesn't it bother your stomach lying down so soon after eating them? I'd be awake just from the weird flavor in my mouth.

Fermented carrots seem like such a random but cool idea for sleep. Does the fermentation process make the good stuff in them easier for your body to use, or is it more about helping your gut? Maybe other fermented veggies would work too, like sauerkraut or kimchi, if you can handle eating that right before bed. It's funny how the oldest food tricks sometimes turn out to be the most useful.

That bit about "oldest food tricks" being useful feels like a stretch here. People are really overthinking sleep now with fermented carrots before bed. Like @leo_patel has a point about the taste and stomach thing, it just seems uncomfortable. Maybe it helps some folks, but for most people it's probably just eating a weird snack late. Sometimes a simple routine works better than chasing trendy food fixes.
