My first kimchi in Phoenix turned fizzy after just 2 days

Our house is so hot it basically became a science project. Anyone else have a ferment go turbo in a warm climate?

Oh man, I felt that. What's the weirdest thing you've had melt or go totally wrong in the heat? My butter is basically a liquid from May to October.

Oh man, I once left a bag of chocolate chips on the counter and came back to what looked like a sad, melted puddle of cocoa (my dog tried to lick it up). The worst part was I didn't even notice until I stepped in it and left chocolate footprints all over the kitchen floor. Sorry @mary_kelly, but I'd trade your liquid butter for that disaster any day.
