The free neighbor coffee pact got weird real fast

My neighbor offered to split a Costco coffee subscription with me. $30 each for 3 months of free refills. Seemed like a no brainer. Then I found out he was going twice a day, taking my share of cups. I didn't say anything but it bugged me. Am I wrong for feeling cheated over $30?

Huh, I actually see it the other way. You guys agreed to split a subscription that gives you both unlimited refills, so him going twice a day doesn't really take anything away from you if you're not using your share. The deal was $30 for unlimited access, not for a set number of cups. Feeling cheated because he uses it more just means you wanted to limit his usage without saying so upfront. If you were only planning to go a few times, then maybe this wasn't the right deal for you in the first place. Next time just set expectations clearly from the start instead of letting it bug you silently.
