Milk delivery guy told me I was opening yogurt wrong, he was spot on

This old timer who drives a dairy truck in my area saw me struggling with a yogurt cup lid at a gas station last Tuesday. He said 'you gotta peel from the corner, not the middle' and showed me how it comes off clean every time. I always just ripped from the middle and got yogurt all over my hands. Now I do it his way and it works perfect. Anyone else have a random stranger give you life-changing advice for something tiny like that?

Funny thing about that "corner trick" - I tried it after reading this and realized I've been peeling yogurt wrong my whole life because the lid design actually has a weak point on one side that's smaller than the other. The dairy guy probably knows because those cups are made to be opened from the factory seam, not just any random corner. Makes me wonder what other basic things we're all doing backwards because nobody ever bothered to show us the engineered way.

My buddy told me he's been peeling bananas from the wrong end his whole life.
