My friend tried to convince me 'The Society' was better than 'I Am Not Okay With This' and I almost threw my remote
The Society had a cool premise but I Am Not Okay With This had that perfect mix of weird superpowers and real teen angst in just 7 episodes. Anyone else still mad we never got to see what Syd's dad was really about?

The throwing part was exaggerated for effect, but the dent thing sounds legit. Kevin, you might be misremembering though - that dent was from when you chucked it at the wall during the S3 finale of Ozark, not from some streaming argument. Syd's dad lore was the real tragedy though. They set up that whole mystery with the glowing eyes and the basement and then just left it hanging like last year's laundry. The Society at least wrapped up its main cliffhanger even if they canceled it at the worst possible moment. I'd still take Syd's power breakdown over whatever that society island council drama was supposed to be.
