Bought a $40 drafting brush and it's the best small tool I own now

I was working on a big set of architectural plans last week and kept getting smudges from my hand. I saw an old drafting brush in a supply shop and grabbed it for about forty bucks. It sounds simple, but it lets me sweep away eraser bits and dust without touching the paper. My lines stay clean and I don't have to stop and blow on the sheet anymore. Does anyone have other small, cheap tools that made a big difference in their workflow?

Forty bucks for a brush? I mean, it's just for dust, right? I used a cheap makeup brush from the drugstore for years and it did the same thing. Maybe it's just me but that seems like a lot for something so simple.

Ever tried cleaning camera sensors with it?

Robert, I'm sure your makeup brush works fine, but my desk isn't a beauty counter. I bet @averywright's camera sensor idea would leave some interesting blush streaks, though. Sometimes the right simple tool just feels good to use.
