Oh man, you paid the big money just to get your own point proven. Isn't that the most expensive "I told you so" ever? The movie can show you a sandworm, but it can't crawl inside your head and build the pictures the book does. Guess some things just don't translate, no matter how many pixels you buy.

Lol, my brother bought the fancy Lord of the Rings extended set for the same reason. He still quotes the books at me when we watch, pointing out every little change. Some stories just live better on the page, I guess.

All that money just to sit there and argue about what a hobbit really would have said. I almost feel bad for his wallet, but mostly I'm impressed he found the perfect way to get under your skin.
