PSA: Dice tower assembly took me 90 minutes because I skipped the instructions

I spent over an hour trying to jam a wooden dice tower together backwards before realizing the diagram was crucial. Has anyone else wasted a whole evening on a board game accessory that should have taken 10 minutes?

Forty slats? Oh man, that is pure madness. I would have snapped at least three of those in frustration before getting halfway through. My wooden kit had maybe fifteen pieces and I still got the whole thing upside down. Did you ever finish yours or is it still sitting in a box somewhere waiting for round two?

Wait, what kind of dice tower was it? Like one of those cheap foldable cardboard ones or a wooden kit with a bunch of tiny pieces? I almost gave up on a wooden one that had like 40 little slats that all had to slide into each other just right. Did you end up getting it to work or did you just toss it in a drawer and never touch it again?
