The difference in our shop after we switched to a new wire labeling system
About three months back, our lead got fed up with the old dot matrix labels fading and peeling off. He brought in a Brady BMP21 label maker and a roll of their high temp vinyl tape. The change was huge. Before, you'd spend ten minutes just trying to read a faded wire number in a tight rack. Now, every label is crisp, stays put, and you can read it from a few feet away. It cut my troubleshooting time on a King Air's autopilot harness by at least an hour last Tuesday. The whole shop just feels more organized, and you don't have that nagging worry about a label failing mid-flight. Has anyone else made a simple tool switch that had a bigger payoff than you expected?

That hour saved on the King Air is a big deal. What was the actual process like to switch over? Did you have to re-label everything at once, or just do it wire by wire as jobs came in?
