PSA: I keep seeing techs skip the full ground check on Garmin G1000 installs

After three planes came back with static noise in the audio panel, I traced it to bad ground points at the avionics rack. The manual says to check resistance at each point, but people just do a quick visual. A shop in Tampa had to redo a whole King Air job because of this. How do you guys make sure your ground checks are solid?

Man, I bet half the static is from techs rushing to beat the clock on flat-rate jobs.

Flat rate's part of it, but the manual is pretty clear. A visual check just doesn't cut it for grounds.

Wait, they're just doing a visual check for grounds? Honestly, that's wild. The manual spells it out for a reason, you can't eyeball that stuff. Tbh it's no wonder there are so many issues if that's the standard. Feels like they're asking for trouble.
