PSA: Tried that viral charcoal toothpaste everyone raves about

Used it for 3 weeks straight and my teeth felt rougher than before. My dentist in Chicago told me it literally scratches the enamel off over time. Anyone else ditch this stuff after trying it?

My dentist flat out told me to throw mine away. Said it was basically sandpaper for teeth. Did yours feel weirdly gritty even after rinsing a bunch of times? I noticed little white flecks in the sink too which freaked me out.

Skeptical of that take honestly, @spencer_perry77. Lots of dentists push weird agendas and those white flecks people see are usually just calcium or product buildup, not your enamel lmao. If charcoal powder was that destructive it wouldn't be sold everywhere without a giant warning label.
