Overheard a coffee shop owner say "friends don't let friends use QuickBooks" lol
Guy at The 806 said it after I mentioned spending 3 hours fixing a messed up invoice. He recommended a local bookkeeper instead, anyone else ditch the DIY accounting route?

Yeah, "you can learn it in a weekend" is a classic line from people who don't run a business that actually has customers... I spent a whole Sunday once trying to fix a QuickBooks error, only to have my bookkeeper untangle it in twenty minutes on Monday. Sometimes paying someone is just buying your own sanity back.

Wait, you'd rather pay someone else to do something you can learn in a weekend? QuickBooks is annoying but it's not that hard once you figure out the basics.
