Come on now, it's not that deep. News channels do the exact same thing on a slow Tuesday night. They drag out old cases, bring in talking heads, milk the tragedy. At least podcasts are honest about being entertainment. People have been rubbernecking at tragedy since forever, it's human nature. Nobody's laughing at the victim, they're laughing at how bad the cops messed up the investigation. That's fair game.

Gotta push back a little here. That tent was probably already showing its age or it's just a cheap model that couldn't handle a wet week. Most decent tents hold up fine if you set them up right and keep the rainfly tight. You might have saved yourself the trouble by checking the seams before you left.
