My kid's AI tutor app just... stopped working right after the latest update. It was fine yesterday.
It's the one from that startup, EduBot. The math problem generator just started spitting out gibberish questions, like 'If a train leaves at 3pm traveling at banana miles per hour...' My eight-year-old just stared at it. I tried reinstalling it, but no luck. The whole point was to keep him occupied for 20 minutes while I made dinner. Now I've got a frustrated kid and burnt pasta. Has anyone else's learning tools gone completely haywire after an update? What did you switch to?

Maybe the gibberish questions are secretly teaching creative thinking.

That's a cool point from @keithgibson. It could also be training us to spot patterns in noise, which is a real tech skill. So maybe there's a method to the madness after all.
