My AI property inspection tool flagged a major leak that wasn't there

I was using a new AI inspection app in a Denver apartment last month. The system's image analysis flagged a 'major water leak' under the kitchen sink. I crawled under there and everything was bone dry. The AI had mistaken the shadow from a pipe and some dust for water damage. I had to manually override the report, which took an extra 20 minutes. Has anyone else had an AI tool create a false alarm that wasted your time?

Bought one of those AI sprinkler controllers last summer and it kept telling me I had a leak in zone 3. Spent an entire Saturday digging up the yard, tore out a section of pipe, found nothing wrong. Turned out the AI was getting confused by the pressure drop when my neighbor was watering his lawn on the same side of the water main. Had to factory reset the whole system and disable the leak detection mode.

Ugh, this happens with everything now. Honestly, my phone's weather app said it was pouring rain yesterday while I was looking at clear blue sky.

Switched to a local radar app and it's been way more accurate for me.
