Hit 10,000 monthly views on my AI blog... but I'm not sure AI is helping
I hit 10,000 monthly views last week on my blog about AI tools for small business, but the wild part is that over half that traffic came from an AI-generated article I didn't even write. On one hand, that's free exposure, but on the other hand, it feels like I'm cheating - what's the point of creating original content if the bots just rewrite it better?

Free exposure is free exposure" is what I kept telling myself when the same thing happened to me. I just leaned into it and started using the AI traffic to promote my own deeper guides, ended up tripling my email list in like a month.

Logan632, I gotta gently push back on that a little. Free exposure isn't always free when you're giving away your best work and people start expecting everything to be free.

Man the whole "free exposure" trap is real but I feel like people sleep on the upside too much. Yeah it sucks when someone scrapes your post but if you're smart about it you can flip that into something way bigger. I've seen folks just add a little note at the bottom linking to their paid stuff and it works like crazy. The key is not getting mad and just playing the game back at them.
