inObserving the trend in carpet underlay specifications
Totally, @xena873. What works for me is walking on it barefoot to really notice the change. That's when you can't ignore the difference in support.

inWarning: Got a client from a business meetup, now the dynamic is odd
Ah, the classic mix-up where your networking pal becomes a client... now you both know too much about each other's stuff. Just act normal, but every meetup will have that weird vibe, like they saw your business in its pajamas. Maybe joke about it once to break the ice. Otherwise, you'll be talking about traffic while remembering how they packed their china. Congrats on the job, but yeah, it's awkward...

inMy take on razor cuts for fine hair gets me odd looks every time
Watched my friend go through this at a salon. She insisted on a razor cut for her fine hair. The stylist shook her head, said it was a bad idea. My friend pulled out her phone, showed old photos. Her hair looked thick and full, no damage visible. Now she only books with stylists who know her method works.

inAfter resisting for years, I started using thinning shears on thick hair cuts.
Wait you're actually using shears for the blend and not just the texturizing? That's wild lol. Most barbers I know would be terrified to try that, it's so easy to mess up the graduation. But tbh on really thick hair it makes total sense, clippers can only do so much. Huge respect for getting that technique down, that's next level stuff for real.

inWhen a friend called my digital art an ad
Yeah, when someone calls your art an ad, that's rough. My own stuff sometimes looks like it's selling a stock photo smile or a background for a bank website. I have to catch myself using the same three safe colors over and over. Gotta throw in a weird shape or a messed up texture just to break the corporate vibe.
