inPSA: I used to steam every client's face for 10 minutes straight
Honestly feels like people overthink this stuff. 10 minutes vs 3, whatever works for you. I've seen great results with longer steam and bad results with short steam. It's not that deep.

inFinally got my umbilical twist figured out after 3 dives in a row getting tangled
I read somewhere that a lot of the cave diving guys run a swivel at their butt plate and another at the chest slider just so they can spin around rock formations without kinking their hoses. Seems like the same logic applies for working around pilings and structure. I've seen a few guys on the commercial dock use a little stainless ring between their harness and their hardhat too, just for that extra free rotation.

inWasted $200 on a spray foam insulation DIY kit from Lowe's
Oh man, that is such a bummer. @jones.angela is exactly right, you really ended up out eight hundred bucks total, not just two. I did nearly the same thing myself with one of those kits a couple years back, except it was too humid and the foam just kind of sagged and dripped down the walls like honey. Spent a whole weekend trying to clean it up and then had to call a pro who charged me almost seven hundred to strip it all and start fresh. It's one of those jobs where the temperature and humidity have to be just right or you're sunk. I learned my lesson too; now I leave anything with two chemical tanks to the guys with the big rigs and the heated hoses.

inVent: Lady told me my food truck menu was too big and she was right lmao
Oh man, that's a great lesson... I did the exact same thing with my BBQ stand, went from 10 meats down to 4 and people stopped freezing up at the menu board.

inJust realized everyone obsesses over flight deals and ignores the real budget killer
I had the same problem until I set a hard rule for myself about checking work emails on vacation. I turn off all notifications and delete the apps from my phone before I even leave. The first day is a little twitchy, but after that it gets way easier. I also block out two half days before a trip specifically for wrapping things up, not for cramming extra work in. And I leave one full buffer day when I get back just to catch up without jumping back into meetings. It doesn't fix everything, but it makes the whole cycle way less brutal.
